MortarLife^®

Additive for Extending the Working Time of Mortar.

MortarLife provides extended working time to both plant-manufactured and jobsite-mixed mortars. MortarLife can be used with Portland cement/lime mortars and proprietary mortar and masonry cements. In addition to retarding the set time of mortar, MortarLife enhances the workability of mortar. MortarLife is particularly effective in warm weather, extending board life for several hours thus reducing mortar waste and the need for retempering. MortarLife complies with the current edition of CSA Standard A179.
